Coca-Cola Japan Reconstruction Fund Activity Report
The Coca-Cola Company has established Coca-Cola Japan Reconstruction Fund within the Coca-Cola Educational & Environmental Foundation in order to support recovery measures in areas struck by the Great East Japan Earthquake. This fund consists of ¥2.5 billion in recovery support money from The Coca-Cola Company, donations collected from Coca-Cola system associates, and donations from the general public which were accepted in the period from April 11th 2011 to June 30th 2012.
The purpose of this fund is rooted in the activity philosophy of the Coca-Cola Educational & Environmental Foundation, and its objective is to assist with the creation and repair of public facilities such as educational and other facilities used to help restore the lives of children in affected areas. Specific uses for monies from the fund will be closely discussed with relevant organizations within disaster areas, and reported on this website.
